Work Experience: before 2006
Work Experience: 2006 - 2010
While pursuing my bachelor's degree in special education in the USA, I worked and volunteered at schools to broaden my experience in education systems and these are some of the projects I worked on:

Alexander Elementary School (USA)
• Introduced a multi-disciplinary activities program within the curriculum for K - G3 students once a week covering language arts, music, drama, art and social studies whilst working as an educational technician.
Calais Elementary School (USA)
• Developed and conducted two after school programs, Creative Writing and Creative Drama for G 2 - G5, in Calais Elementary School.
Calais Middle/High School (USA)
• Designed and developed two Basic Science units and two Basic English units for the students in the Life Skills class during student teaching internship in Special Education at Calais Middle/High School.

I worked at the Holy Child Speech & Drama Centre for 7 years as a Speech & Drama teacher to prepare students for Speech and Drama exams conducted by the London College of Music (LCM) and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). I also taught the Oxford Reading Tree program to children at the centre.

In 1998, I started my own company called The Purple Log. I developed enrichment programs for children from kindergarten to Secondary 2 and together with a group of dedicated teachers, conducted these programs in various schools.  The most popular programs were Speech & Drama and Creative Writing.  I helped prepare many students to participate in concerts and other stage performances. Some of the schools The Purple Log conducted programs at included:

- Changkat Primary School
- Mayflower Primary School
- CHIJ (Katong)
- St. Stephens School
- Compassvale Primary School
- Red Swastika Primary School
- Temasek Primary School
- Si Ling Primary School
- Pioneer Primary School
- Griffiths Primary School
- Faith Educare Centre
- Good Shepherd Convent Kindergarten

In 2006, I decided to pursue a bachelor's degree (to satisfy a life-long ambition)
